Biographical Information:

Georgiana obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University.  Georgiana has experience working with clients in crisis while working in hospital and partial hospital settings. She also has experience working with juvenile delinquents as a probation court officer intern as well as additional clinical experience working as an intern at Perspectives of Troy.

Georgiana strives to use the most up-to-date and evidence based techniques including CBT, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Techniques utilized will be in concordance with the needs of clients. Georgiana takes into account the different dimensions of an individual’s life:  Social, Emotional, Intellectual, Physical, Spiritual, and Occupational. She understands that struggles in one area of one’s life will most likely lead to struggles in other areas of life. She is here to help her clients find balance and lead the most productive lives that they can while regarding their individuality and unique needs.
