Olivia Dixon

License: Limited Licensed Professional Counselor

Olivia Dixon is an authentic and energetic community leader who models integrity while serving and thriving in the process. A strong advocate for community-based initiatives, Olivia focuses primarily on serving people that have been stigmatized due to mental health challenges either by the public, themselves, or their families which has produced real or perceived limitations for growth.

Olivia Dixon obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Community Development from Central Michigan University. Olivia has enjoyed professional and educational experiences as a licensed massage therapist, certified fitness trainer, motivational speaker, academic advisor, ordained pastor, and project manager. Through her work, Olivia discovered direction, significance, and purpose in the holistic education of others. She has since created and taken advantage of opportunities to challenge and create spaces within for-profit and non-profit institutions to develop the whole person in her clients and students; mind, body, and spirit.

After walking with many people through various processes and adjustments, Olivia discovered that the core of personal development and the greatest opportunity for impact lied within an individual and their personal choices. Olivia decided to further her education at Ashland Theological Seminary, where she was trained in spiritual formation and obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling.  Whether it be a school change, a divorce, a promotion, or having a baby; Olivia enjoys working with people through challenging life transitions, obstacles and adjustments. She also has a high interest working with adolescents and emerging adults coping with depression, anxiety, trauma or stress related disorders.

Olivia’s holistic, theory-informed practice mixed with genuine compassion helps her to assist those whom she serves toward personal transformation.
